Getting started: Dr. L's "Official Post"

It is 17 days until departure. Now is the time for frantic scurrying and last minute preparations.  I have been to England and Wales a number of times, but this will be a new experience for most of my students.  I will let each of them introduce themselves below, and then over the course of May you will hear officially for them several times as they post on their experiences, and unofficially as they post on whatever they want.
